Who we are

AMS Fabrication Pty Ltd was established in January 2021. We operate from a single workshop at 47-51 Lorraine Street, Peakhurst, Sydney. We deliver on what we quote — on time, to spec, at a fair price.

We are a focused fabrication business, not a large corporate. When you call, you speak directly to the people cutting, folding and welding your job. We take on everything from a one-off prototype bracket to repeat production batches, and coordinate finishing and coating through trade partners so you deal with one supplier end to end.

Our clients range from small subcontractors who need a handful of brackets made each week, to project delivery groups that need a reliable fabrication partner across multiple sites. We work across commercial fit-out, construction, architectural metalwork, industrial maintenance and equipment manufacturing. We handle both one-off parts and repeat production runs.

How we work

Good fabrication starts before the first cut. Before we quote, we review your drawing and flag anything that won't work — a tight bend radius that won't fold cleanly, a material choice that will cost more than necessary, a tolerance that's tighter than the application needs.

What you get: a single quote, a single delivery, and parts that fit first time. No chasing three different suppliers, no surprise invoices, no parts that need reworking on site.

AMS Fabrication workshop floor
Our Peakhurst workshop — laser cutter, press brake and welding stations under one roof.

Once the job is confirmed, we control the process in-house: laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and assembly all happen on our floor. Finishing work like powder coating, galvanising or blasting goes to trusted trade partners we have worked with for years. You deal with one point of contact, one invoice, and parts that arrive ready to install.

How we run the shop

No hidden extras

If a job is going to be delayed, we tell you before you have to ask. If a price needs to move because of a material change, we explain why and show you the alternative. The quote we give you is the price you pay — unless something changes on your end and we've agreed it in writing.

We check before we cut

Material certs are checked against the order before the laser starts. First-off samples are measured against the drawing before we run the batch. Welds are dressed where the job demands it, edges are deburred so the part is safe to handle.

Direct contact

The person you talk to on the phone is the person cutting your metal. No account managers, no call centres.

What we do in-house

  • Fibre laser cutting of sheet and plate in mild steel, stainless and aluminium
  • CNC press brake bending and forming for panels, brackets, housings and custom profiles
  • MIG and TIG welding for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Assembly of brackets, frames, balustrades, handrails and custom components
  • Drilling, grinding, finishing and preparation for coating

Powder coating, galvanising, sandblasting and priming are handled through trusted trade partners, coordinated by us. You deal with one supplier, one quote, one delivery.

Who we work for

We supply commercial fit-out companies, construction and site crews, architectural fabricators, engineering and maintenance teams, and equipment owners across Sydney and NSW. Our work has gone into retail fit-outs, office buildings, industrial plants, mining equipment upgrades, shopfit packages and architectural balustrade systems. We don't take on work we can't do well, and we don't overpromise on lead times — if we can't fit your job in this week, we'll tell you when we can, and we'll hold that slot.

Clients we work with

The short answer: we make their jobs easier. They send a drawing, get a clear quote, and receive parts that fit the first time. They don't chase us for updates, they don't get surprise invoices, and they don't have to coordinate three different suppliers to get one finished component. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's why clients who start with one bracket send us ten more the next month.
